Pearls of Wisdom! πŸ’—πŸ•Š️

Today at MomCo we had our Mother-In-Law Panel! 🌸 ☕️ Thank you Margo and Ilona for spending your morning with us, answering our questions, and imparting pearls of wisdom. (We also are petitioning a spot at the Thanksgiving table because you ladies are wonderful MILs! 🀣πŸ₯°). And thank you to our Mentor Mom, Lucy, for rocking the Moderator role (and baby holding role)!   When asked “What’s your best advice for a successful and happy marriage based on your own experiences?” they had this to offer: Communication; have a common interest you both enjoy and can bond over (as well as having interests you can do apart); have fun & laugh; always be accepting of each other.  And when asked “Any words of advice on how we can be better daughters-in-law?” they had this to offer:  • Couple power- the strength of the relationship with your husband should come first  • Allowing them opportunities to check in on the grandchildren (whether it’s sending them photos or video...

Monthly Brunch and Board Games

Sometimes, getting out for a Moms Night Out can be hard! Our Monthly Brunch & Board Games helps that; hosted on Saturday mornings and a “bring your kid so you can hang out” mentality. The more the merrier. I love getting to hang out with moms and not have to stress about my kiddos being there is I can’t find a sitter. I don’t miss out and playing board games (or card games) while my kids play is a win-win-win!πŸ₯‡

PulseCheck with Ryan

Thanks for such a productive meeting & being so receptive, ladies! ❤️ I got some action shots πŸ’ͺ I hope Ryan was able to answer your first aid questions & I hope you guys gained some new skills and knowledge ☺️ While he wasn’t able to formally certify us during today’s session (to be certified through the American Heart Association- AHA you have to go through a formal class with testing requirements), he does have his Instagram @PulseCheckCPR where you can contact him to schedule a certification course (if you need CPR/BLS for jobs, babysitting, etc.). He is an AHA instructor. For any medical girlies in our group, he also can do BLS, ACLS, PALS, and other certifications.

We LOVE love πŸ’•

Roses are red ❤️ Violets are blue πŸ’™ Happy Valentine’s Day, MomCo!  We have so much love for each and every one of you πŸ’• February recap thus far: Our first meeting for February was definitely appropriate for Valentine’s Day- we welcomed back Dr. Noelle Pomeroy, a Clinical Sexologist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor! We got to ask questions about intimacy and hear from an expert!  Then on Valentine’s Day, our MomCo Co-Coordinator Anne hosted the cutest Valentine playdate! There was a cookie-decorating station, a DIY Valentine mailbag station, a game of Keepy-Uppy 🎈, and plenty of toys & heart-themed snacks πŸ’• We topped off the play date with a valentines exchange! πŸ’Œ Our mommas NAILED their OOTDs! πŸ”₯🩷 SO cute! 😍 Be sure to checkout the MomCo 24-25 highlight on our Instagram @stmattsmomcojax for all the play dates and things we’ve done this year thus far!

Reminder 🫢🏼

First Meeting of 2025 ✅

What a better way to kick off the year, than a White elephant gift exchange?! One mom’s trash is another mom’s treasure. We had laughs, steals, board games, socks, a BEAUTIFUL pair of leggings, and everything else. It was a great time to sit back and enjoy our group.  After, we played a dice “get to know you” game at tables. Roll the die, pick a box, and spill your tea. ☕️  I truly loved hearing other moms funny stories and embracing that we aren’t alone in the trenches.

2025- A Breath of Fresh Air

It has taken two whole years for this new member to log into the blog and I’ve finally done it! *round of applause* I am definitely adding it to my accomplish and giving myself a pat on the back.  I feel like that is apart of motherhood right?? Trying to do something for so long and not quite figuring it out and then finally someone sees it with new eyes and *BAM* it all connects and works?!  I wouldn’t survive this life without my MomCo (MOPS) village. πŸ₯‚ Here’s to fresh new beginnings, an updated blog, and friendships!
